About the Role

This is a permanent part-time Dietitian role based in Western Sydney, delivering a high-quality dietetics service to community clients. You will provide individual 1:1 home visits and group activities at various sites.

Assessing and intervening with clients in their own homes, you will carry out rehabilitation home programs to improve functional independence and quality of life.

Participating as a member of the multidisciplinary team, you will assess clients' level of function and care needs, set care goals, and provide appropriate treatment and interventions.

You will also provide clinical supervision for students.


Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A tertiary qualification as a dietitian acceptable to the Dietitian's Association of Australia;
  • Maintain Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) status;
  • Significant practical experience or extensive knowledge in a Rehabilitation or Aged Care setting, across inpatient/outpatient or community settings;
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Demonstrated organisation and time management skills;
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team;
  • Empathy and patience;
  • Strong administrative and computer skills;
  • Experience working in a multicultural environment;
  • An understanding of Work Health and Safety policies and procedures.
