We are seeking a skilled Patient Transport Officer to join our team at the Royal Flying Doctor Service. As a Patient Transport Officer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and transportation services to patients in need.
Key Responsibilities- Perform patient assessments and interventions on-road
- Provide high-quality patient care and treatment during on-road transport
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with patients and stakeholders
- Assess the effectiveness of interventions in accordance with RFDS MPC guidelines and NEPT regulations
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure seamless patient care
- Qualified as a Patient Transport Officer (PTO) with a minimum of a Cert III in Non-Emergency Patient Care
- Experience working in the NEPT sector is desirable but not essential
- Hold a FULL NSW Driver's license and have the ability to drive in both city and country traffic conditions
- Availability to work shifts Monday to Friday with weekends on-call

As part of the application process, you will be required to provide evidence of the following vaccinations:
- Hepatitis B

- COVID-19 (2 vaccinations + booster)
All positions are subject to a National Police Check and holding a Working with Children Check.
