* Leading quantitative and qualitative research projects to inform advice on current and future economic conditions;
* Presenting persuasive economic arguments to senior executives, including on the economic outlook;
* Developing and enhancing relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
* Building the capability of team members by directly managing one or more Economists/Senior Economists and proactively looking for opportunities for continuous improvement.
Required skills and qualifications include:
* Superior analytical skills and a record of achievement in macroeconomic analysis and forecasting;

* A very high attention to detail and a strong focus on delivering results for stakeholders, often under competing deadlines;
* Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and coach staff, while also fostering a constructive team culture.
Benefits of working with us include:
* A supportive and inclusive workplace culture that values diversity and promotes flexible working arrangements;
* Opportunities for professional growth and development through training and mentorship programs;
* The chance to contribute to meaningful economic policy and strategy that has a direct impact on the lives of Victorians.
