We are seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Brisbane, Australia.

Your Role:

  • Guide purposeful work that supports the future of the building sector.
  • Collaborate with a diverse, multidisciplinary team to explore integrated solutions and offer thoughtful perspectives.
  • Partner with clients to help them build a more sustainable world.

Responsibilities:

  • Enabling the sustainable and equitable development of infrastructure across Queensland and Australia.
  • Designing solutions for clients in mechanical services engineering (HVAC) across various industries.
  • Adopting human-centred design practices to deliver projects for the benefit of communities.
  • Collaborating with clients to develop high-quality engineering solutions across different sectors.
  • Leading teams of multidisciplinary designers to deliver coordinated solutions.
  • Enabling the development and progression of junior team members as a day-to-day people leader.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant engineering degree and experience in mechanical engineering (HVAC).
  • Registration as a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) or as a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng), or equivalent.
  • Strong ability to shape thoughtful, effective solutions in buildings and infrastructure development.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Willingness to question the status quo and offer new perspectives.
