About the Role

As a leading provider of engineering, fabrication, installation, and maintenance services for transport, electrical, plumbing, and industrial systems, we use the latest technology and tools to deliver exceptional results.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Interpreting engineering blueprints to inform metalwork operations.
  • Constructing base templates as required.
  • Measuring and marking out cutting and bending lines with precision.
  • Setting up metalwork machinery, including rollers, drill presses, flame cutters, brakes, and shears.
  • Verifying design specifications before commencing metal cutting work.
  • Fabricating and constructing metal components to exacting standards.
  • Grinding and finishing completed products to a high standard.
  • Conducting quality checks on completed products to ensure compliance.
  • Maintaining a safe working environment in accordance with state and company regulations.
  • Preparing accurate job reports.

About You

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Metal Fabricator;
  • Strong mathematical skills;
  • Proficiency with metal fabrication tools, including shears, rollers, flame cutters, and drill presses;
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints;
  • Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy parts safely.

This is a permanent, full-time position with a competitive salary of $105,000 - $120,000 per annum.
