Building Residential Life Communities

This role offers a chance to build and nurture residential life in a student accommodation environment, working with a team to ensure residents have a good balance between study and personal life.
Key qualities include resilience, supportiveness, caring, hands-on, and positivity, which are essential for providing aid when problems arise and ensuring the wellbeing of residents.
Responsibilities and Expectations- Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement an engaging events program that caters to resident needs.
- Monitor and address resident wellbeing, providing timely support and assistance when required.
- Serve as a primary contact for residents, offering on-call assistance and being available to address their concerns.
- Participate in incident response and management, both during shift times and after-hours, to maintain a safe and supportive community.
- Background in reception or hospitality is beneficial, along with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Ability to work under high pressure in a fast-paced environment, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High levels of computer literacy and the ability to learn new systems are necessary for this role.
- 'We care' attitude, commitment to a Monday – Sunday roster, unrestricted work rights in Australia, National Police Check (completed within last 3 months), and Working with Children's Check (NSW) are mandatory.
