Global Brand Creative Leader

We are looking for a talented Lead Designer and Creative Director to elevate our craft and raise the bar of excellence for our global brand campaigns. As a master in your craft, you will tackle complex design and creative problems at Canva.
The ideal candidate will have proven agency and/or client-side campaign experience, as a Senior Art Director who has successfully delivered global campaigns across multiple channels.
- You have excellent design craft and copywriting skills, and a portfolio that shows experience with Campaign Creative.
- You have an understanding that spans digital design, product design and Figma is key to this to help ensure sure that your vision is fully realised.
- You thrive in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment that requires the ability to problem solve, drive chaos to clarity, and maintain personal resilience.

Key responsibilities include designing creative solutions for Canva's campaigns, collaborating with our product and motion teams to ensure we are representing our product in the best light in our campaigns, managing and working with multiple stakeholders across the organization, conducting research, brainstorming, sketching, prototyping, and collaborating to create groundbreaking work.
This role requires a deep understanding of consumer targets' mindsets, attitudes and behaviours to inform strong creative development, as well as the ability to articulate creative decisions and connect strategy with decisions.
