Administrative Support Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to work in our administration team, supporting the hospital's Admissions and Reception.

  • Maintain accurate and effective record management systems including preparation of medical records.
  • Perform Health Fund Checks as required.
  • Manage the collection of excesses/co payments.
  • Coordinate with staff from other departments.
  • Complete other clerical tasks such as data entry.

This role offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills in administration and work in a dynamic team environment. You will have the chance to work closely with staff across various departments, providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the hospital.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing a busy reception desk, answering and redirecting calls, organizing appointments, and preparing admission paperwork. You will also perform a range of administrative duties, including maintaining accurate and effective record management systems, performing health fund checks, managing the collection of excesses/co payments, and coordinating with staff from other departments.

You will be working in a convenient location near public transport, and the ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, highly developed organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and experience in MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
