We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as an Early Years Practitioner. As a key member of our nursery team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality childcare and education to young children.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the planning and delivery of engaging activities that promote each child's learning and development. You will work closely with experienced Room Leaders and Nursery Managers to ensure the nursery is a safe, stimulating, and caring space for children, staff, and visitors.
You will also be responsible for building positive relationships with children, parents, and staff, maintaining clear communication and supporting the nursery team in meeting Ofsted requirements and ensuring high standards of care and education.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the planning and delivery of play-based activities that promote each child's learning and development.
- Ensure the nursery is a safe, stimulating, and caring space for children, staff, and visitors.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff, maintaining clear communication.
- Support the nursery team in meeting Ofsted requirements and ensuring high standards of care and education.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Strong verbal communication skills with both children and adults.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Organised with attention to detail.
- Calm, caring, and adaptable, with a good sense of humour.
- Reliable, enthusiastic, and eager to learn.
