About the Role

Cuscal is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Compliance to join our team. As a key member of our compliance function, you will be responsible for ensuring that our business operations are in line with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain our compliance framework to support Cuscal in complying with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement and embed initiatives to ensure sustainable practices, including providing information, training, and tools to the first line of defence.
  • Develop and monitor the implementation of and reporting on Cuscal's frameworks, policies, and standards for managing compliance risks.
  • Support the AML/CTF Officer in discharging responsibilities, including completing and submitting reports to AUSTRAC.
  • Oversee and monitor the implementation and effectiveness of the Compliance Management across the organisation.
  • Actively participate and provide input to change initiatives and projects as they relate to compliance management.
About You

To be successful in this position, you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in operational risk and compliance roles, in the financial services sector.
  • Solid understanding of relevant laws and regulations, industry codes, standards, and prudential requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience in building risk and compliance maturity and capability across the first and second lines of defence.
  • Strong inter-personal and communication skills with the ability to build effective workplace relationships.
