Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our Research & Development team in Melbourne.

As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for developing test procedures, harnesses, and scripts to ensure the quality of wearable tracking hardware and software solutions. You'll work closely with development engineers to detect and report issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product quality and performance.

  • Develop automated test frameworks and tools to enhance testing efficiency and reliability.
  • Collaborate with tech leads, product managers, and stakeholders to align on priorities and risk, and influence product design to improve testability.
  • Design and implement test strategies, plans, and cases for new and existing features, and review and contribute to those developed by colleagues.

Our ideal candidate has a strong background in electronics or software engineering, experience with firmware testing, and proficiency in Python programming. They should also have knowledge of IoT technologies, Linux operating systems, and common wireless communications technologies.
