Are you an experienced governance professional with the ability to partner with boards and senior leadership to deliver strategic outcomes? We are seeking a Corporate Services Manager to lead governance, board management, and corporate services for a large, aged-care NFP.

About the Role
In this pivotal role, you will support the CEO and Board of Directors to ensure excellence in corporate governance, board operations, and organisational compliance. You will be responsible for end-to-end management of Board and Sub-Committee activities, production of high-level reporting, and ensuring the smooth operation of governance processes.

This position offers the opportunity to work closely with executive and senior leadership, manage critical documentation and reporting, and contribute to the delivery of strategic priorities that shape the future of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all Board and Sub-Committee operations including meeting papers, reports, policies, schedules, and records.
  • Support the CEO in preparation of reports to the Board and State Council.
  • Manage onboarding, orientation, and training requirements for Directors.
  • Provide high-level administrative support to Directors and Sub-Committee members.
  • Lead board performance appraisals and contribute to key reports such as the Chairman's Address for the AGM.
  • Manage Diligent Boards software and ensure governance resources remain accurate and accessible.
  • Assist with strategic priorities, projects, and financial reporting inputs.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate governance, risk, and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement in governance systems, processes, and documentation.
About You
You are a confident, collaborative leader who thrives in a governance-focused role. You have strong commercial acumen, exceptional communication skills, (especially written), and the ability to foster trusted relationships with Boards, executives, and stakeholders.

To be successful, you will bring:
  • Experience working with Boards of Directors or senior leadership in a governance capacity.
  • Tertiary qualifications in business management, corporate governance or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years' leadership experience across multiple business functions.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality documentation and reporting at an executive level.
  • A very strong eye for detail.
  • Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a consultative and team-oriented approach.
  • Understanding of risk management, compliance, business continuity and quality improvement.
  • You will be self-sufficient and have a "lets get on with it" attitude and style.
