Brooks Hire is a leading national company with a strong presence in the Australian mining and construction industry.

We are currently seeking an experienced Heavy Haulage Specialist to join our team based out of our Oxley branch.

About the Role:

This is a permanent full-time opportunity that offers a generous hourly rate and penalties, as well as long-term stability in a reputable company.

  • As a Heavy Haulage Specialist, you will be responsible for transporting oversized loads to customer sites safely and efficiently.
  • You will need to competently carry out all relevant pre-start checks prior to transportation and ensure all loads are secure prior to and during transportation.
  • In addition, you will meet all safety criteria ensuring the safety of self and others, and perform routine maintenance on machines as needed.
About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a HC Driver's License and have experience in long distance trips, heavy haulage, and quad and dolly operations.

You will also need to be competent in performing routine maintenance on machines and have at least 2 years' experience in the transportation of oversized loads.

A medical certificate, including a drug and alcohol test, will also be required.
