At Macquarie Bank Limited, we are dedicated to fostering a strong risk culture across our Technology division. As an Associate Director in our Technology Risk team, you will partner with our Macquarie Capital business to drive effective risk management and ensure that Technology Risk is aligned with our Operational Risk Management Frameworks.

About the Role

This leadership role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with stakeholders at all levels, leveraging your strong stakeholder management skills to drive a proactive risk culture and clear understanding of our risk framework. You will report directly to the Group Head of Technology Risk, part of the Line 1 Risk team, and be responsible for ensuring ongoing Operational Risk Management.

Your key responsibilities will include conducting risk assessments for new technology proposed as part of a new product launch, control assurance reviews, issue and action closure validation, and providing risk input to material changes. We are seeking a seasoned professional with proven experience within a Technology Operational Risk leadership role gained within a financial services environment.

We welcome candidates with a strong understanding of Risk frameworks or Operational experience across technology supporting an Equities trading business and back-office functions. Your exceptional stakeholder management skills and strong leadership abilities will enable you to effectively partner with Business Risk Partners to drive end-to-end risk management.
