Mechanical Equipment Preservation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled mechanical expert to oversee preservation procedures on the Perdaman Project in Karratha.
Project OverviewThe Perdaman Project is a landmark undertaking for Western Australia, delivering the largest urea plant in the country and one of the largest globally. The project will generate 2000 jobs during the construction phase and offer long-term benefits to the local community through career, training, and business opportunities.
Role Responsibilities- Implement equipment preservation procedures, including vessels, tanks, pumps, gearboxes, compressors, and air coolers.
- Develop preservation procedures for electrical systems, instrumentation, motors, substations, HVAC, RIE's, and battery rooms.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintain accurate preservation logs.
- Apply protective coatings, inerting, flushing, and sealing as required.
- Coordinate with construction and commissioning teams.
- Construction White/Blue Card.
- Technical knowledge or relevant certification.
- Experience in LNG, petrochemical, or oil & gas industries preferred.
- Strong understanding of equipment preservation techniques and industry standards.
- Ability to work in high-safety, fast-paced environments.
- Working at Height, EWP, Confined Space, Gas test Atmospheres.
- Current Driver's License.
- Full Working Rights in Australia.
