We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team in Karratha. This is a rewarding opportunity for the right candidate.

Job Description:

As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for implementing preservation procedures for static and rotating equipment, including vessels, tanks, pumps, gearboxes, compressors, and air coolers.

  • You will also implement preservation procedures for E&I equipment, including electrical systems, instrumentation, motors, substations, HVAC, RIE's and battery rooms.
  • Regular inspections and maintenance of preservation logs are essential.
  • Protective coatings, inerting, flushing, and sealing may be required as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Construction White/Blue Card
  • Technical knowledge or relevant certification
  • Experience in LNG, petrochemical, or oil & gas industries preferred
  • Strong knowledge of equipment preservation techniques and industry standards
  • Ability to work in a high-safety, fast-paced environment
  • Working at Height, EWP, Confined Space, Gas test Atmospheres
  • Current Driver's License
  • Full Working Rights in Australia
