As a key member of our organization, this role is responsible for safeguarding and enhancing our brand reputation across various stakeholders.

This position provides strategic communications advice, leads proactive public relations, manages issues and crisis communications to ensure our voice remains influential and trusted among all audiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • We seek a candidate who embodies our values and behaviors effectively.
  • The successful applicant will develop and implement strategic communications campaigns securing positive coverage through established networks, mainstream regional and industry outlets.
  • Provide timely accurate responses to media enquiries in collaboration with Senior Leadership Team.
  • Manage issues and crisis communications developing and implementing strategies including preparation of Q&As holding statements and coordinated responses.
  • Support briefing material preparation for senior executives Board Directors and Ministers.
  • Coordinate responses to formal government inquiries ensuring accuracy timeliness and consistency with organisational messaging.
  • Project manage corporate reporting projects coordinating inputs maintaining accuracy and delivering to deadlines.
  • Drive best practice communications delivery adhering to our Brand Guidelines Editorial Style Guide Tone of Voice and Audience Personas.
  • Monitor report on media coverage stakeholder sentiment and emerging issues affecting industries.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing or equivalent relevant experience.
  • A minimum 5+ years' experience in communications, media or corporate affairs.
  • High-level writing editing skills for various audiences channels with excellent attention to detail.
  • Established networks across industry landscape with demonstrated track record of securing coverage growing those networks.
  • Demonstrated experience producing briefing materials for Boards Ministers and senior executives.
  • Project management experience in developing delivering corporate publications campaigns end-to-end.
  • Experience monitoring analysing reporting on media coverage stakeholder sentiment reputational risk preparing concise actionable reports for senior executives Boards.
