Role Overview:

Maintain high standards of Memorial Park and contribute to new projects improving facilities.

This role involves general maintenance and construction tasks including burial duties and cremation assistance on a rotating roster.

Weekend work is required within this role.

About the Role:

  • Perform manual labor tasks indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Gardening and general maintenance roles are undertaken with a focus on providing exceptional client service.
  • The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a cemetery and crematoria environment.
  • A current manual unrestricted driver's license is required for this role.

About You:

  • Horticultural, gardening or landscaping experience is preferred.
  • The ability to perform heavy lifting, landscaping and general maintenance duties for extended periods is essential.
  • A customer-focused individual with sensitivity to grieving people and effective communication skills is required.
  • A team player with willingness to work co-operatively and rotating roster availability is necessary.
