Senior Lawyer for Drug Treatment Orders

Victoria Legal Aid is seeking a seasoned criminal lawyer to provide high-quality legal advice and act as an advocate for clients on drug treatment orders in the county court. The ideal candidate will possess significant knowledge and practical experience in criminal law and therapeutic justice related matters. They will conduct complex casework management, in-court advocacy, duty lawyer services, and advice sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct complex casework management

- Mentor and supervise less experienced lawyers
Requirements:
- Significant knowledge and practical experience in criminal law and therapeutic justice related matters
- Effective casework, dispute resolution, and advocacy skills
- Previous experience supervising junior lawyers
- High-level interpersonal skills
