Job Title: Precision Health Specialist

About the Role:

\
  • We are seeking a skilled Precision Health Specialist to join our team.\
  • As a key member of our team, you will work closely with customers to provide technical expertise and support in the areas of precision medicine and reproductive health.\
  • You will be responsible for designing and conducting experiments to initiate and validate the use of our systems in customer laboratories.\
  • In addition, you will train clinical laboratory scientists on the use and maintenance of our systems and software.\
  • You will also prepare presentations and run seminars and workshops to educate customers and drive revenue growth.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

\
  • Bachelor of Science or higher education.\
  • Experience with reproductive health and/or precision medicine testing.\
  • Experience training clinical laboratory staff on the use of scientific equipment.\
  • Excellent understanding of clinical genomics.\
  • Excellent understanding of genomic databases and their annotations (GenBank, RefSeq, ENSEMBL, dbSNP).\
  • Demonstrated computer and data analysis skills, ability to analyze complex data sets.\
  • Customer focused, thinks and implements with a customer-centric perspective.\
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external partners.\
  • Ability to work well as part of a cross-functional team with minimal supervision.\
  • Excellent time management skills, able to manage conflicting priorities and ensure deliverables are met.\
  • Strong communication skills: Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely both orally and in writing.\
  • Excellent listening, questioning and negotiation skills.\
  • Comfortable in delivering presentations.\
  • Ability to share information clearly and consistently with customers and colleagues.\
