Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Operations business in Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia. As a Health Safety and Environment (HSE) Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting our clients and internal teams in the operational aspects of day-to-day and strategic HSE management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting to the HSE Manager, support a key client and internal functional and delivery teams in the operational aspects of day-to-day and strategic HSE management.
  • Provide expert advice to internal and external stakeholders and facilitate feedback.
  • Develop HSE interface documents that support enablement of planning.
  • Demonstrate a proactive, holistic approach to HSE and the contexts in which we work in the industry.
Requirements
  • An effective communicator with the ability to build rapport and meaningful relationships with clients, peers and Contract Management.
  • Proficient in developing HSE interface documents that support enablement of planning.
  • Sensible, objective and diligent in opportunities to learn—such as assurance programs and incident investigations.
  • Proactive in taking a holistic approach to HSE and the contexts of our industry.
Qualifications

A relevant degree such as a Bachelor's in HSE/WHS/OHS or equivalent; 2-5 years of relevant experience in HSE; Proven delivery of HSE programs that positively and pragmatically influence safety culture.
