Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Data Governance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in strengthening data governance frameworks, supporting the rollout of metadata tools, and improving data quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement data governance strategies to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency.
  • Conduct data assessments, including profiling, lineage analysis, and issue resolution, to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business and data requirements.
  • Validate data integrity throughout migration activities and recommend governance or training solutions to address process gaps.
  • Assist in implementing data governance tools and interpreting profiling results to monitor and improve data quality.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in data/information management, preferably with a focus on data governance.
  • Proven expertise in data governance, data quality, and compliance standards.
  • Hands-on knowledge of data governance tools, such as Microsoft Purview and Alation.
  • SQL or other data querying experience is highly desirable.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and documentation skills.
