The Opportunity: Services Engineer - Data Centre Project

We are currently seeking an experienced Services Engineer to join our NSW Construction business on a large-scale Data Centre project in Western Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful management and coordination of building services across the Data Centre site.

You will report directly to the Services Manager and be expected to advise on all technical building services aspects of the project. Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring building services design complies with specifications, Australian Standards, Codes, Regulatory Authorities, and Client Requirements.
  • Managing, coordinating, planning, and executing building services work, including commissioning and defect resolution.
  • Design reviews and coordination with the design and consultant team during tender and design phases of projects.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Building Services Engineering; or relevant trade qualifications and industry experience.
  • Previous experience as a services engineer/manager on commercial, residential, health, or education projects.
  • Procurement and negotiation experience with services subcontractors.
  • Commercial/contract management experience.
  • An understanding of Australian Standards and the Building Code of Australia.
What We Offer
