Aged Care Support Worker

Catholic Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to join our team in Orange, NSW.
About the RoleAs a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents in a residential aged care community. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with personal care such as showering and dressing
- Supporting with day-to-day tasks such as eating and social activities
- Working with clinical staff to ensure care and medication plans are followed
- Maintaining documentation and working as part of a team to ensure our residents' health and well-being are optimized
- Providing high-quality service to families and the community
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- A genuine passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly
- Great communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility and the ability to adapt to change
- A Certificate 3 in Aged Care (or equivalent) or willingness to obtain with Catholic Healthcare's traineeship program
- A driver's license and access to a vehicle
- NDIS screening check or willingness to obtain
