Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Dams Engineer to lead the management, safety, and compliance of critical water storage and flood mitigation assets. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the operational integrity and regulatory compliance of Copperlode Falls Dam and three detention basins.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead regulatory compliance and safety management for key dams and detention basins.
  • Coordinate routine and comprehensive inspections to assess the condition of the dams.
  • Develop and implement strategies for long-term dam maintenance and upgrades.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on dam safety improvements and risk mitigation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Civil or Geotechnical).
  • RPEQ status (or commitment to obtaining it) highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in dam safety engineering and working with dam safety management programs.
  • Strong understanding of Australian regulations and industry standards (ANCOLD).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
