Risk Management Professional

Job Overview:

The Risk Management Professional will work closely with clients to deliver practical solutions for managing technology risk, including areas such as security, availability and integrity, cyber security, data governance, open banking accreditation, privacy and IT audit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver a range of technology risk projects, including security assessments, vulnerability testing, compliance audits and risk management initiatives.
  • Execute IT risk reviews against security frameworks such as COBIT, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001 and NIST.
  • Client relationship management, including planning, scope determination and value add.
  • Coaching and developing a team of senior professionals.
  • Actively managing risk matters and articulating the risks and opportunities associated with IT to stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate and demonstrate a logical approach to the review of technology.
  • Providing clients with pragmatic recommendations to address areas of concern or opportunity.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • IT risk and security experience, with management experience in a professional services environment.
  • Experience with auditing standards and industry frameworks such as SOC-2, IIA/ISACA, COBIT, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001 and/or NIST.
  • Relevant certifications, such as CISA, CRISC, CISM, CISSP or CA/CPA qualifications.
  • Ability to articulate understanding of major IT systems and their deployment across organizations.
  • Ability to work independently with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
