Role Overview

We're seeking an experienced Cost Management Specialist to join our team in Queensland. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic group of professionals who share your commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.

Job Description

In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring the successful delivery of our cost management services. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Working effectively as part of a cost management team to ensure all deliverables are met.
  • Performing cost planning and cost estimating duties, including measurement of quantities based on design drawings.
  • Providing pre-contract cost planning services during design stages of projects.
  • Preparing post-contract progress claims and variation assessments, as well as cost reporting.
  • Engaging with the local property market to gain market knowledge and provide valuable insights to our clients.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A recognised degree qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
  • MAIQS / MRICS certification is highly desirable.
  • Consultancy environment work experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in the use of CostX.
  • Able to demonstrate attention to detail, strong time management skills, quick thinking, and resilience in a fast-paced environment.
  • An excellent command of written and spoken English, with excellent report and bid writing skills.
