We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our team in the Emergency Department. As an Advanced Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for providing primary 'first contact' specialist musculoskeletal physiotherapy services for the independent diagnosis, management, and discharge of clients presenting to the Emergency Department.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize expert physiotherapy clinical knowledge, skills, and critical reasoning to facilitate novel solutions to complex clinical problems across the continuum of care.
- Develop and implement clinical practices, competencies, procedures, and protocols that facilitate patient flow, engaging cross-discipline referencing and integration of post-graduate professional development, best practice, and clinical evidence within the areas of Musculoskeletal and Emergency Medicine Physiotherapy.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures.
- Possession of a qualification in physiotherapy from a recognized tertiary institution and current registration, or eligibility for current registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
- Ability to work variable roster/shift work, including weekends and public holidays.
