Student Support and Supervision

We are seeking a dedicated individual to provide assistance to the Head of Boarding in the daily operations of the boarding house. The role is pivotal in the lives of our young people, working to ensure their safety, welfare, and personal development.

The responsibilities of this position demand a proactive physical presence and supervision both on campus and during daily activities. This role is crucial to the growth and development of the boarders residing in the boarding houses.

  • Assist the Head of Boarding with the pastoral care and welfare of students.
  • Support the daily routines of the boarding house, including supervising students and general functions.
  • Ensure students rise, attend to personal hygiene, personal housekeeping, and community duties under the direction of a more senior employee.
  • Supervise student activities and outings as required.
Requirements:
  • Relevant experience in tutoring, nursing, youth work, or residential care would be highly advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collegially in a team environment.
  • Demonstrate personal maturity and a warm, welcoming manner.
  • A current Certificate in CPR, First Aid, and Duty of Care, or willingness to obtain these credentials.
  • A current LR bus licence or willingness to obtain within one month of employment.
  • Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or willingness to obtain.
