Fresh Food Area Manager Job

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the overall performance of the Fresh Food department, including achieving sales and gross profit targets.

This is a key leadership role that requires strong commercial acumen, supplier negotiation skills, and ability to balance structure with flexibility in a fast-moving retail environment.

  • Achieve and exceed sales budgets and gross profit targets
  • Drive initiatives to improve GP % and $ across all stores
  • Ensure operational standards are met and exceeded with a focus on compliance
  • Deliver on income targets through effective promotional spend and execution

About This Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Fresh Food Area Manager. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within FMCG or retail.

You will have a proven track record of delivering strategic plans and end-to-end project delivery, as well as intermediate to advanced Excel skills and data-driven decision-making.
