Your Role at St John of God Mt Lawley Hospital

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team in our surgical unit.

Your role will involve providing safe and effective clinical care, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure the best patient outcomes.

Our unit offers a diverse case mix, including maxillofacial, ENT, plastics, gynaecology, general surgery, urology, colorectal, and orthopaedics.

The Position
  • Maintains and develops clinical skills to care for patients at an appropriate level of competence.
  • Delivers high-quality patient care using appropriate resources efficiently.
  • Adheres to and supports hospital policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Acts as a patient advocate and facilitates individual rights.
  • Participates in a multidisciplinary team approach to patient care through the continuum of care.
  • Prioritizes workload using resources effectively.

You will hold current registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as an Enrolled or Registered Nurse, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a surgical specialty and demonstrated commitment to quality patient care.

To succeed, you will have the ability to work effectively and harmoniously within the multidisciplinary healthcare team, with a commitment to ongoing education and professional development.

  • Salary: $74,748.53 - $98,362.97 per annum (pro-rata for part-time), plus 11.5% superannuation.
  • Permanent full-time and part-time positions available.
