Acute Care Clinical Specialist

Clinical Nurse professionals with experience in acute healthcare infection prevention and management are sought for a role within our multidisciplinary team.
The position involves delivering comprehensive evidence-based nursing care to patients, focusing on quality and patient safety. As part of the Royal Perth Hospital and Bentley Health Service, you will be working in a tertiary-level emergency medicine environment, offering specialist medical services and contributing to innovation and excellence in medical research and patient care.

  • Responsibilities include:
  • Providing clinical and professional expertise to ensure comprehensive evidence-based nursing care is delivered to patients.
  • Facilitating and promoting patient safety and quality of care.
  • Practicing within their scope of practice, considering the Nursing and Midwifery Board's Nursing Practice Decision Flowchart.
Requirements and Qualifications

A valid working visa or Australian citizenship/permanent residency is required for this role. Applicants must have experience in acute healthcare infection prevention and management. A strong understanding of nursing and midwifery principles, as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills, is essential.
