Education Focused Optometric Practice Role

This is a unique opportunity to lead and innovate within our Optometry program, focusing on education and student success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead unit teaching teams to develop effective curricula and learning materials.
  • Apply industry knowledge and experience to improve student engagement and development of resources.
  • Deliver innovative teaching practices and suggest approaches to enhance student success and engagement.
  • Lead the delivery of optometric practice and business management units.
  • Provide high-quality administrative services in our Collaborative Eye Care Clinic.
  • Offer academic support to students and contribute to improving student support services.
  • Develop assessment tasks and rubrics to demonstrate learning outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in a cognate field such as Business or Optometry.
  • Experience in teaching and business management.
  • Record of scholarly learning and teaching in UG and PG programs.
  • Leadership capacity and passion for teaching administration.
  • Ability to collaborate with partners and external organisations.
