The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and location.

Job Description

As a Retail Stocking and Merchandising Associate at Costco Wholesale, you will be responsible for stocking and straightening merchandise for sale in the warehouse. You will also clear and clean aisles, assist members, and perform other tasks as needed.

Daily Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Spot hazards for forklift drivers to prevent falls and ensure safe working conditions.
  • Follow merchandising standards and practices to maintain high product levels and present products attractively.
  • Communicate with supervisors and managers to determine merchandising plans and priorities.
  • Stock opened cases on shelves, move and position pallets of merchandise using manual pallet jacks, and stack product from partial pallets to full pallets.
  • Use box knives to cut boxes for display and accessibility, and wrap or tie and tag pallets to be returned to storage.
  • Mark product numbers on unmarked items using marking guns and observe correct product signage.
  • Set up display models, assemble as necessary, and modify displays for safe handling by members.
  • Pull loose cardboard and slip-sheets from floors, clear sales floors of debris, sweep, remove empty pallets, operate cardboard balers and trash compactors, and rewrap loose product using shrink-wrap machines.
  • Provide prompt and courteous member service, help members load large items into their carts, direct members to products, and relate product status knowledge.

Non-Essential Functions and Tasks:

  • Assist front-end and other departments when necessary.
