Senior Commercial Manager

We are seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the commercial management of high-profile refurbishment and upgrade projects across universities and government departments.
Job DescriptionThe Senior Contract Administrator will be responsible for:
- Full contract administration and financial oversight of multiple live projects
- Managing head contracts and subcontractor packages, including procurement and scope definition
- Preparing, tracking and managing variations, claims, and payment schedules
- Cost reporting and forecasting in collaboration with senior stakeholders
- Supporting compliance with all contractual, legal, and regulatory requirements
- Assisting with commercial risk management and dispute resolution
The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and excellent understanding of construction contracts and cost control.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related field
- 5+ years' experience in a Contract Administrator role, with recent experience at a senior level
- Proven track record working on complex commercial or institutional refurbishment projects
- Exposure to high-quality projects in live and logistically complex environments
- A stable and well-regarded builder with a strong pipeline of repeat business
- A collaborative, no-ego culture where performance is recognised and career paths are clear
We offer a competitive salary package up to $180,000 + Super depending on experience.
