Job Details

We are seeking a skilled Civil Plant Operator to join our team at Mount Gambier - SA.

  • The ideal candidate will have experience operating multiple earthmoving machines and relevant tickets (if applicable) with a minimum 3 years of experience (Excavator 1-30 tons, Backhoe, Front end loader and Bobcat).

Key responsibilities include:

  • Operating plant machinery to assist with property maintenance and construction of new facilities.
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently.
  • Maintaining equipment and reporting any issues or damage.
  • Working closely with the Construction team to meet project deadlines.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Experience in all aspects of Civil works.
  • Experience in installing stormwater drainage and pits, sewerage and service pipes.
  • Laser levelling experience with the ability to set up and use dumpy levels and set pipe lasers.
  • Experience in rock hammering, excavation, trenching, piering, bulk excavation and levelling.
  • GPS final trim experience.
  • Construction Induction Safety certificate (White Card).
  • Current driving licence and own transport.
  • HC (Unrestricted) Licence (an advantage).
