We are seeking a highly skilled AV Technician to join our team at the Cairns Convention Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the setup and pack down of technical and production needs of clients, testing and operating audio-visual equipment, and maintaining audio-visual equipment to a high standard.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. You will have the chance to work with a variety of clients and events, from conferences and exhibitions to concerts and banquets.

  1. Assist with the setup and pack down of technical and production needs of clients
  2. Test and operate audio-visual equipment
  3. Maintain audio-visual equipment to a high standard

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively under pressure. You will also need to have basic knowledge of audio, lighting, and video equipment operation.
