The Cairns Convention Centre is getting ready for the upcoming events season and is looking for talented people to join our team as we get ready to welcome clients and guests through the doors. The Centre is home to some of the largest conferences and events in Tropical North Queensland, where no two days are the same. The Centre hosts an exciting array of events, conferences, concerts, NBL basketball games, banquets, public events, and performances. You will work with a team of dedicated professionals to achieve excellence in events in our multi-million dollar refurbished and brand-new building.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Cairns Convention Centre is actively seeking to expand its team by bringing on passionate AV technicians and team members. We welcome a range of skill sets and provide in-house training to help you reach your full potential.

You will be:

1. Assisting with the setup and pack down of technical and production needs of clients
2. Testing and operating audio-visual equipment
3. Maintaining audio-visual equipment to a high standard
