The role of a Payroll Officer involves supporting the payroll team to process weekly payrolls in a timely and accurate manner. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our close-knit team on a permanent full-time basis. The successful candidate will possess demonstrated experience in a similar role, exceptional attention to detail, and high-level professionalism with sensitivity to confidential pay issues.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Assisting with processing and calculating the weekly payroll
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge on current Enterprise Agreements/Industry Awards and legislation relating to the payroll function
  • Responding accurately to pay queries for staff and management in a timely manner

To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role
  • Exceptional attention to detail coupled with strong time management skills
  • High level of professionalism with sensitivity to confidential pay issues
