
Administrative Support Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and organised professional to provide exceptional support in our Water and Sewer Department. As an Administrative Support Officer, you will be responsible for coordinating meetings, managing phone calls, handling document management, and purchasing.
This role involves collecting, collating, and maintaining essential data, delivering high-level customer service to residents and contractors, and working with team members to improve business unit efficiency.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
· Strong administrative skills with experience in a similar support role.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage confidently with internal teams, customers, and contractors.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and a willingness to learn new systems.
· Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities.
· Attention to detail and a high standard of accuracy in data management and reporting.
· A customer-focused mindset, ensuring all enquiries are managed promptly and professionally.
· National Police Check.
· Certificate III in Business Administration.
· Knowledge of various software programs including TechOne, Trim, CM9, and mapping databases.
· Experience in a similar role within Local Government.
