Locum Consultant Psychiatrist - Older Persons Job Description

The role of a Locum Consultant Psychiatrist in an IPU setting involves providing high-quality psychiatric care to older persons. This position is based in Westmead and requires registration as a Specialist with the Australian Health Practitioner's Regulation Agency (AHPRA), assessment completed by The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP), and Australia working rights.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert psychiatric care to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
