We're seeking a skilled HD Plant Mechanic to join our team in Mackay, QLD. As an HD Plant Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of heavy machinery.

Job Description

As an HD Plant Mechanic, you will work on-site to diagnose and repair faults with heavy machinery. You will be required to perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and other preventative measures to ensure the optimal performance of equipment.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and drivetrain systems. Experience working on CAT, Komatsu, or Hitachi mining equipment is highly desirable.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Australian-recognized HD trade qualifications, including workplace licenses;
  • Experience working on heavy machinery, preferably in a mining or earthmoving environment;
  • Strong knowledge of safety protocols and procedures;
  • Ability to lift up to 20kg and work at heights;
  • Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a NSW Driver's Licence;
