Enrolled Nurse Role

We are seeking an experienced Enrolled Nurse to join our team in a community nursing role.

  • Provide safe, compassionate, person-centred care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Assist in the evaluation of nursing care through provision of information, documentation and reporting changes in patient's conditions and participation in unit meetings and discussions.
  • Act as a preceptor to other enrolled nurses, undergraduates, Assistants in Nursing and work experience students as appropriate.
  • Work within own scope of practice and seek support, learning and education where required.
  • Administer medications in accordance with NSW Health and Far West policies and procedures.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
  • Current endorsed Enrolled Nurse registration with AHPRA.
  • Demonstrated application of professional and ethical boundaries in a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Demonstrated application of evidence-based practice and critical thinking to advocate for and implement person-centred care.
  • Ability to identify and resolve conflict with professional conduct.
  • Commitment to work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients and communities to improve health outcomes.
  • Participation in professional development and commitment to maintaining competence and sharing expertise.
  • Understanding of evidence-based practice and its impact on practice and policies within the organisation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and effective written and verbal communication within a multidisciplinary team.
