In this position, you will play a key role in mitigating risk and promoting safety across the store. You will be responsible for implementing and monitoring risk management policies, as well as conducting incident reporting and investigations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Risk Management: Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to prevent loss and promote safety.
  • Incident Reporting: Conduct thorough investigations into incidents and report findings to relevant stakeholders.
  • Store Safety: Ensure that all stores maintain a safe and secure environment for employees and customers.
  • Contractor Compliance: Monitor and ensure that contractors comply with all relevant policies and procedures.
  • Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with centre management, local police and other retailers to promote collaboration and cooperation.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels and manage stock movements.
  • WHS Representative: Represent the organisation in WHS matters and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Security License: Hold a current security license.
  • First Aid Certificate: Hold a current first aid certificate.
  • Strong Organisation Skills: Possess strong organisation skills with the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Initiative and Adaptability: Demonstrate initiative and adaptability in an ever-changing environment.
  • Representing the Organisation: Be able to represent the organisation in a professional manner.
