Master Tradesperson

Our team is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our facilities maintenance team at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

This full-time role involves carrying out carpentry and trade-related tasks, diagnosing faults, performing repairs, maintenance, and minor modifications in line with safety and compliance requirements.

• Carry out carpentry and trade-related tasks within specified timeframes and quality standards, based on drawings, templates, and instructions.
• Diagnose faults and perform repairs, maintenance, and minor modifications in line with safety and compliance requirements.
• Operate tools, machinery, and equipment safely, and assist with non-mechanical maintenance and construction activities.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed, including photographic documentation uploaded to company systems.
• Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and the service delivery team to support smooth operations.

• Trade qualification in Carpentry (Certificate III or equivalent).
• Current Australian Driver's Licence.
• Current White Card (or willingness to obtain).
• Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Demonstrated experience in carpentry maintenance and new works, ideally in a hospital or healthcare setting.
