We are seeking an experienced and skilled accountant to lead a team of professionals, manage client relationships, and mentor junior staff members.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have expertise in managing client accounts from start to finish, building strong relationships with clients, and preparing financial statements. They will also be responsible for drafting tax advice, mentoring junior accountants, and managing IT issues.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of clients, providing expert financial guidance and support
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income tax returns and business activity statements
- Draft tax advice for clients on complex transactions
- Mentor and develop junior accountants, helping them to grow professionally
- Manage IT issues, upgrades, and improvements, ensuring the team has access to the latest tools and technology
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders, building strong relationships and networks

To be successful in this role, you will need:
