Correctional Nurse

Collarcare is partnering with health services across Australia to recruit Registered Nurses for correctional contracts and shifts. As a Correctional RN, you will provide high-quality care to individuals in custody within corrections facilities.

• You will be a dynamic, caring, and motivated Registered Nurse with a passion for nursing within a person-centered model of care.
• Assess and monitor the health status of corrections patients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare teams.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Provide education and support to patients.
• Document patient care and progress accurately.
• Collaborate with doctors, other nurses, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Respond to emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
• Current National Police Check.
• 1 year of experience working in an Australian Health Setting.

• Regional contracts and ad-hoc shifts available.
