About the Role

As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing the strategic vision for data and analytics in the Australian Pacific region. Your goal will be to drive business growth by leveraging data insights and analytics capabilities.

This senior leadership role will require you to build a high-performing data and analytics team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration. You will also be responsible for establishing strong relationships with executive stakeholders and ensuring that data-driven decision-making is embedded across the organization.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading complex initiatives and driving transformational change through the effective use of data and analytics.

Key Accountabilities
  1. Develop and Execute Strategic Vision: Create and implement a comprehensive strategy for data and analytics in the Australian Pacific region, aligning with business priorities and transformation agenda.
  2. Lead High-Performing Team: Build and manage a diverse, vibrant, and engaged data and analytics team, providing clear career paths, development opportunities, and a collaborative culture.
  3. Drive Data-Driven Decision Making: Advocate for the role of data and analytics in delivering business outcomes, building executive and stakeholder buy-in and support for the D&A strategy.
  4. Establish Data Hub: Establish and build support for the strategic evolution of the Data Analytics Platform (DAP) as AUSPAC's strategic data hub, working closely with the Technology team.
  5. Manage Data Governance: Develop and implement data governance strategies, practices, and requirements to ensure the integrity and quality of data.
