About the Role

Alzheimer's Queensland is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dementia and Aged Care Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional support to our clients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Enquiries: Respond to client enquiries in a professional and compassionate manner, identifying their care service requirements and providing guidance on Alzheimer's disease and our services.
  • Advice and Assistance: Offer advice and assistance to clients over the phone, collaborating with relevant departments to ensure a positive and supportive client experience.
  • Client Care: Follow up on client care requirements to ensure they are met with the correct client care, and manage a sales pipeline to ensure enquiries are followed up with internal stakeholders.
  • Education and Training: Develop and deliver health-related education programs, working collaboratively with the team to maintain and improve educational programs.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Relevant tertiary qualifications in nursing or a health-related industry, and registration with APHRA or a relevant body.
  • Clinical and Communication Skills: Highly developed clinical and communication skills, with a proven track record in developing and delivering health-related education.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with the team to develop and maintain educational programs and contribute to the ongoing success of the organization.
  • Certifications: Obtain a National Police Check and hold a current Australian Open Driver Licence.
