Job Summary:

This position plays a pivotal role in spearheading strategic initiatives that drive operational efficiency and excellence within finance teams.

About the Role:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating cross-functional projects, ensuring timely project milestones are met, and fostering effective collaboration with stakeholders.
  • The ideal candidate will have expertise in project management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to navigate complex global systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the implementation of new processes and procedures aimed at improving financial operations.
  2. Collaborate with global teams to design and implement innovative solutions leveraging reporting tools, predictive analytics, and dashboards.
  3. Oversight and control over premium collections and claim recoveries through coordination with countries in APAC.
  4. Provide timely insights and analysis on ageing receivables, bad debts, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  5. Ensure seamless payment processing across countries and business units, adhering to industry best practices and accounting principles.
  6. Maintain robust controls around payment obligations and provide guidance on Concur (T&E system) usage.

Requirements:

  • A recent degree in Business, Commerce, Economics, or Accounting.
  • A keen interest in finance and operations, with experience working with offshore and onshore teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to travel interstate and/or overseas.
